Role Overview

The Production Handler is responsible for supporting the daily meal production process by accurately portioning, assembling, and packing meals according to company standards. This role ensures that every meal prepared is consistent in quality, appearance, and quantity. The Production Handler maintains high levels of hygiene, follows food safety guidelines, and works efficiently to meet production deadlines. They collaborate closely with chefs, supervisors, and other production staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of all meal plan orders.

Responsibilities

• Achieve daily production quotas efficiently.
• Precisely measure and portion all ingredients following specified charts, weights, or measurements.
• Assemble meals accurately according to established recipes, plating guides, or reference photos.
• Verify that every meal contains the correct elements (including sauces, proteins, carbohydrates, and vegetables).
• Strictly adhere to all Dubai Municipality, HACCP, and general food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ensure the workstation is kept clean and organized throughout the shift.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must possess basic English communication skills (e.g., reading labels, understanding simple instructions).
• Demonstrated ability to accurately count, measure, and adhere to specific portion sizes.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Dubai Municipality or equivalent).
• Understanding of HACCP principles, cross-contamination prevention, and temperature control.
• Previous work in a meal plan company or cold kitchen is a strong advantage.
