The opportunity

You as Project Business Controller will be part of Hitachi Energy. You will be expected to Support Project Manager in all financial and commercial matters and actively drive the project’s performance.

Assigned to multiple projects. Also supporting the OU controller with business controlling.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Drive service sales and business development activities across assigned countries and market segments (e.g., Utilities, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, EPCs, Industrial clients).
  • Providing input to the Project Execution Plan on financial aspects. (Education in accounting and finance and experience in project accounting).
  • Preparing project invoices, financial accounting and reporting. Driving project cash flow and overseeing currency risk and tax issues.
  • Responsible for the correctness of project balance sheet and income statement as well as for cash flow and monthly/quarterly forecast. (Education in accounting and finance and experience in project accounting).
  • Supporting the Project Manager in adherence to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter, country specific finance directives and instructions.
  • Will help to download financial information from HE is reporting tools, consolidate and analyze the results (Good experience in excel and ability and experience of working with large amount of data).
  • Support with monthly closing and reporting (required education and basic experience in accounting and finance and an approach towards learning new skills).
  • Supporting in various adhoc analysis to manage costs, cash and utilization absorptions of the OU’s/ HUB.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in finance is preferred.
  • 0-5 years of project controlling or finance experience in Energy or T&D industries.
  • Customer and business oriented, strong commercial and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
