About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to join our team in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing bridges and structures maintenance projects, ensuring efficient execution and adherence to safety standards.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets for bridge and structure maintenance projects
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and government officials
• Monitor project progress and report on key performance indicators
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety protocols
• Organize and facilitate project meetings, documenting and distributing minutes
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and technical specifications
• Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment for maintenance projects
• Collaborate with the engineering team to address technical issues and implement solutions
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and identify potential risks or challenges
• Support the development of project proposals and cost estimates

What do we need from you

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in civil engineering or construction
• Proven experience with bridges or structures maintenance projects
• Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and scheduling tools
• Strong knowledge of bridge and structure maintenance techniques
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in the UAE
• Understanding of safety protocols in construction and maintenance projects
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
