We are seeking a skilled QA/QC Engineer with expertise in MEP projects to ensure the quality and compliance of our projects with industry standards and regulations.
Job Responsibility
- Develop and implement quality control plans for MEP projects, including inspections, testing, and documentation.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any deviations from project specifications and work with the project team to address them.
- Review and approve materials and equipment used in MEP projects to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Monitor the implementation of quality assurance procedures and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues and improve project performance.
- Prepare quality reports, documentation, and non-conformance reports as needed.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and technological advancements related to MEP projects.
- UAE/MOFA attested Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a QA/QC Engineer in MEP projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction techniques, and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and ASME.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Quality certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) are a plus.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems
- Proficiency in quality assurance and quality control processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with various teams
- Experience with testing and inspection procedures
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in MEP projects
- Proficient in using relevant software and tools for QA/QC processes
