JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Mechanical Engineer – QA/QC to join our Implementation team. This position is responsible for implementing quality assurance and control measures, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and facilitating seamless coordination between stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Some of the key responsibilities are as below, but not limited to:



  • Develop and implement QA plans, procedures, and checklists specific to mechanical systems.

  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards (e.g., ASME, ISO).

  • Oversee inspections and testing of mechanical installations to ensure adherence to technical drawings, codes, and specifications.

  • Manage the documentation of QC activities, including inspection records, test results, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).

  • Monitor and verify commissioning and startup processes for mechanical systems to ensure functionality and reliability.

  • Implement QA/QC procedures, policies, and documentation in alignment with project and industry standards.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits on-site to verify the quality of mechanical installations, materials, and workmanship.

  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and consultants to resolve quality-related issues.

    • QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum eligibility requirements and key competencies:




  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5-8 years in QA/QC roles, with at least 3 years in Data Center / large-scale critical infrastructure projects.

  • Relevant QA/QC certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ASME, or equivalent).

  • ASME, API, or similar mechanical engineering certifications.

  • HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are a plus.

  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to mechanical engineering.

  • Proficiency in QA/QC tools, methodologies, and software.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
