Overview of the role:
- The primary focus of the role is to ensure all vehicle service, repairs, and diagnostics meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Operating within a dynamic workshop environment, the Quality Controller systematically inspects completed work, identifies defects or non-conformities, and collaborates closely with technicians and service teams to uphold manufacturer quality standards and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Diploma or certification in Automotive Technology or related field
- IMI LV L2 or equivalent
- High Level Brand Certification E.g. Diagnostic Master, Gold, Level 3 etc.
- 3 – 4 years’ experience in automotive quality control, preferably in a dealer service environment
- Valid UAE driver’s license
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
- Experience of a methodical approach to inspections
- Experience with quality assurance standards and continuous improvement practices
- Knowledge of Volvo vehicles, systems, and repair procedures is highly desirable
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and inspection tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environmen
- - Experience with diagnostics electric vehicles
- - Technical experience and ISO 9002
- - Proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP
- - Communication skills
- Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
