What You'll Be Doing

The Regional Visual Merchandiser will be the key custodian of brand identity in-store, responsible for translating the brands' global visual direction into impactful, localized executions across the Middle East. This role requires a strong visual storyteller with a deep understanding of luxury fashion, a hands-on creative approach, and exceptional communication skills. The successful candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, ensure cost-effective VM solutions, and lead regional implementation with a keen commercial eye.

Creative Execution & Brand Communication

  • Interpret and localize global VM guidelines for each brand (3 Luxury brands).
  • Own the creative translation of brand principles into window displays, in-store zoning, and seasonal animations.
  • Ensure consistency and excellence in visual execution across all touchpoints, aligned with each brand’s DNA.
  • Partner with the Buying, Retail, and Marketing teams to create storytelling moments that elevate product visibility and customer engagement.

Project Management & Budget Control

  • Manage the end-to-end VM planning calendar, ensuring all campaigns, installations, and new store openings are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Control and optimize VM budgets, ensuring cost-effective procurement without compromising on quality or impact.
  • Produce ROI assessments on major VM projects and installations to inform future decision-making.

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, reliable relationships with local suppliers and contractors to ensure high standards of production and installation.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers on cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Oversee procurement of VM materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and budgetary constraints.

Store Support & Performance Monitoring

  • Conduct regular store visits across the region to audit VM standards and coach store teams on best practices.
  • Partner with the Retail Operations team to drive store performance through commercially effective VM.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the impact of VM initiatives on footfall and sales performance.

Team Collaboration & Training

  • Provide training, coaching, and inspiration to store teams on visual merchandising standards and storytelling.
  • Collaborate closely with HQ VM teams and ensure full alignment with global seasonal directives and updates.
  • Act as the key point of contact between brand HQs and regional retail teams for all things VM.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of visual merchandising experience in luxury or premium fashion retail, with at least 2 years in a regional or managerial role.

Skills

  • Strong aesthetic sensibility and deep understanding of fashion and brand positioning.
  • Exceptional communication skills; able to represent brand values with clarity and confidence to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to align VM strategies with business objectives.
  • Proven experience managing budgets and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or similar VM/design tools.
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic or Italian is a plus.
