Purpose and Objectives for the Role
The Responsible Gaming (RG) Manager will be at the forefront of the Company commitment to responsible gaming. The primary responsibility of RG Manager is to develop, implement, and manage the Company’s responsible gaming strategy, policies, and programs to ensure responsible gaming practices within the Company. The RG Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders and The General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) to promote awareness and prevent gaming-related harm. This role is crucial in promoting a safe and sustainable gaming environment for the customers. This role reports to the Head of GRC.

This role is crucial in promoting a safe and sustainable gaming environment for the customers. This role reports to the Head of GRC.
Overall Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Company’s responsible gaming program in line with regulations and industry standards.
- Develop, review, and update responsible gaming policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze customer behavior to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and prepare reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments in the Company to integrate responsible gaming principles into all business aspects.
- Develop and implement strategies and procedures for advertising and marketing that comply with applicable standards of socially responsible advertising, promotions, and marketing.
- Conduct risk assessments with respect to responsible gaming policy and implement appropriate controls to mitigate potential risks.
- Develop and deliver educational programs and materials to increase awareness of responsible gaming practices among employees and the customers.
- Manage the responsible gaming content and controls on the Company’s website.
- Investigate complaints and reports related to responsible gaming and implement appropriate corrective actions when necessary.
- Track individuals on the voluntary self-exclusion list and prevent individuals on the list from opening a new player’s account or further participation in gaming.
- Manage communication and relationships with regulators and stakeholders relevant to responsible gaming.
- Responsible for annual regulatory reporting on responsible gaming activities.
- Participate in responsible gaming operator committees and actively involve in the UAE Responsible Gaming Alliance.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing responsible gaming initiatives.
- Awareness of fraud prevention and anti-money laundering measures.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to promoting responsible gaming.
- Strong understanding of gaming products and platforms.
- Strong organization and project management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of responsible gaming principles, problem gaming prevention, and player protection measures. Familiarity with relevant gambling regulations and licensing requirements.
- Extensive experience in responsible gaming within the online gaming or lottery industry.
- At least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferably in regulatory compliance, legal, psychology, or internal audit. Professional certification in compliance is a plus.
