Job Title: Sales Engineer – Electrical Panels (Turbine Manufacturing Sector)

Job Purpose:
To drive sales growth by identifying, developing, and managing business opportunities for electrical panels, switchgear, and power distribution solutions to turbine manufacturers and related heavy industrial clients across the MENA region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
· Generate new business opportunities with turbine manufacturers, EPC contractors, OEMs, and industrial clients.
· Promote and sell LV/MV electrical panels, switchgear, MCCs, control panels, and power distribution products.
· Execute full sales cycle: lead generation, technical meetings, proposals, pricing, and closing deals.
· Prepare and deliver product presentations, technical clarifications, and commercial proposals.
2. Client Relationship Management
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, procurement teams, and engineering managers.
· Conduct regular client visits to ensure product awareness, follow up on tenders, and secure repeat business.
· Manage customer expectations by coordinating with engineering, production, and after-sales teams.
3. Technical Expertise
· Understand and interpret technical drawings, SLDs, specifications, and compliance requirements related to turbine control systems and power distribution.
· Propose suitable technical solutions aligned with client needs, industry standards, and project specifications.
· Ensure products meet international electrical standards (IEC, UL, NEC, etc.) and project requirements.
4. Market Intelligence & Reporting
· Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and new project developments within the turbine and heavy industry sector.
· Prepare weekly/monthly sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market activity summaries.
· Provide insights for product development and potential business expansion.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience:
· Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the MENA in electrical panels/switchgear.
· Proven track record of selling to turbine manufacturers, OEMs, and industrial clients.
· Strong network in power generation, energy, and industrial sectors.
Technical Skills:
· Strong knowledge of LV/MV switchgear, control systems, protection relays, VFDs, MCCs.
· Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
· Familiarity with turbine control systems and integration requirements is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Strong customer service orientation and solution-driven approach.
· Ability to travel across MENA for client meetings and project follow-ups.
Additional Requirements:
· MENA driving license.
· Ability to join immediately or within short notice is preferred.
