Senior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our financial operations, with a strong focus on crypto accounting, wallet reconciliation, investment tracking, and IFRS compliance. This is a hands-on role that also includes managing VAT filings in Dubai and supporting HR and office administration.

This position is ideal for a financial professional who thrives in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment and is eager to contribute both strategically and operationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile multiple crypto wallets and digital asset transactions.
• Record and classify crypto trades, investments, and token activities in accordance with IFRS.
• Track and measure investment performance, including NAV reporting and other fund-related activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns in line with FTA regulations.
• Maintain accurate supporting documentation and liaise with tax advisors.
• Support payroll, employee onboarding/offboarding, and HR record maintenance.
• Handle general office operations—vendor management, utilities, and supply procurement.
• Coordinate visa processing, medical insurance, and PRO communications.
• Draft and manage administrative documents (e.g., offer letters, NOCs, asset handover forms).
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (ACCA, CPA, or IFRS certification is a strong advantage)
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including 1–2 years in crypto/digital asset accounting.
• Strong understanding of crypto wallets, blockchain transactions, and investment reporting.
• Solid grasp of UAE VAT regulations and compliance.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting platforms (e.g., SoftLedger, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
