Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a sister company of Palazzo Versace Dubai and oversee the financial operations of F&B outlet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality or restaurant finance and will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting functions, cost control, and financial reporting. This position requires both hands-on accounting skills and strategic financial oversight.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a sister company of Palazzo Versace Dubai and oversee the financial operations of F&B outlet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality or restaurant finance and will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting functions, cost control, and financial reporting. This position requires both hands-on accounting skills and strategic financial oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, management reports, and P&L analysis for the F&B outlet
- Monitor financial performance and highlight variances to budget/forecast with commentary
- Monitor and analyze cost of sales, food & beverage costs, labor, and overhead
- Support inventory management and conduct regular audits of stock, usage, and wastage
- Collaborate with the procurement and operations teams to improve cost efficiency and margin performance
- Ensure accurate recording of daily sales, promotions, discounts, and refunds
- Manage vendor payments, contracts, and reconciliation of supplier statements
- Maintain accurate records of tax filings, VAT, and statutory obligations
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Participate in internal and external audits, implementing any recommended improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in F&B or hospitality
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and F&B cost control
- Experience with POS systems, inventory software, and accounting platforms
- Proficient in Excel and financial modeling
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams
