Senior Data Scientist

Overview

The Opportunity:

Presight is looking for a Senior Data Scientist who will spearhead our LLM initiatives, optimize the existing models, develop novel applications based on open source LLM or OpenAI API. He/she would ensure the quality and performance of our AI solutions, keeping our technology at the industry's cutting edge.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize LLMs using techniques such as Transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, and tokenization.
• Lead LLM application development, aligning outputs with business needs.
• Collaborate on scalable data pipelines for training LLMs.
• Extract relevant features for machine learning tasks from large datasets.
• Translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders, and mentor junior team members
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Masters or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science
• 5 - 7 years of experience in the field.
• Hands-on experience with GPT, BERT, or related LLMs.
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and NLP libraries such as NLTK, SpaCy, Stanza, etc.
• Experience with vector databases, text embeddings, and their applications in information retrieval or recommendation systems.
• Experience with MLOps tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and practices for model lifecycle management.
• Proven problem-solving skills, attenton to detail, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
