Job Summary:

Senior draftsman at Halcon is responsible for preparing concept/detailed/shop technical drawings and plans for engineering, construction, fitout projects, in accordance with project specifications and local standards. This role ensures accuracy, clarity, and compliance in all design documentation while coordinating closely with customers and project teams.

Key Accountabilities:

• ­­­­­Technical discussions with customers / departments to collect and accurately interpret architectural, structural, or engineering inputs to prepare engineering drawings for the project to assure all requirements are met during design and construction stages .
• Develop concept drawings for architectural, civil, MEP and interior fit-out works based on design requirements, specifications, and site conditions.
• Develop detailed, shop drawings for architectural, civil, MEP and interior fit-out works based on design requirements, specifications, and site conditions.
• Ensure all drawings are complied with applicable local /industry/country codes & regulations and company drafting standards.
• Coordinate with site teams for drawing clarifications and update drawings based on site changes to prepare accurate as-built documentation.
• Provide technical support during execution by issuing updated drawings and respond to site RFIs (Request for Information).
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before submission.
• Operate and maintain proficiency in CAD and other relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup etc.)
• Provide drafting advise to Junior draftsmen on complex design packages.
• Stay updated on the latest drafting techniques, tools, and local /industry/country codes & regulations standards to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Create 3D visualizations or conceptual layouts for approvals or design reviews whenever required.
• Update and manage drawing revisions, logs, and records ensuring traceability and version control.
• Keep the project master file updated, document all actions and report to the Facilities Engineer.
• Compile and process project documentation to maintain an accurate history of construction of facilities
  
  

Experience & Education Qualifications:

Expertise:

Minimum: Minimum: 5+ years of proven experience in similar role and field.

Minimum Qualification:

Minimum: 3-year Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical engineering stream.

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering
