The Opportunity

Presight is looking for a passionate Senior Engineer – Quality Assurance obsessed with quality to conduct meticulous quality assurance & testing as per business needs & procedures and ensure the highest levels of data integrity & standards compliance without compromising on application functionality.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

As an Senior Engineer – Quality Assurance you will evaluate & assess application potential by testing the compatibility of new programs with existing systems and ensure adherence to application objectives, specifications, and QA standards.

Functional

• Design and implement automated test suites for frontend, backend services, data pipelines, and user-facing features
• Collaborate with engineers to understand system architecture and develop integration, end-to-end, and regression tests
• Maintain and extend automation frameworks for UI, API, and data-layer testing
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with automated testing steps and quality gates
• Analyze failures and edge cases; proactively work with developers to identify root causes
• Validate system behavior across multiple data types, formats, and workflows
• Build testing strategies for data consistency, schema validation, and ontology-based outputs
• Write and maintain clear test documentation, including test plans and reporting dashboards
• Ensure high coverage on critical system components and early detection of regressions
  
  

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in AI, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automated testing in a product development environment
• Strong experience writing automated tests in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience writing API tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests
• Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL data validation
• Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with data pipelines and structured data validation
  
  

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar testing libraries
• Python automated testing expertise
• Background in testing AI-related services
• Experience testing systems involving large data processing, data transformation, or ontology mapping
• Understanding of RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, or distributed systems testing
• Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) for QA observability
• Experience working in Agile and cross-functional product teams
