The Opportunity

The Senior Infrastructure Architect role is a key position within Core42 Professional Services department. The primary responsibility of this role is to design and implement the cloud and infrastructure solutions for Core42 clients.You will be responsible for developing and implementing cloud-based solutions, including the design and deployment of infrastructure components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of the Cloud Design for Core42 Clients.

In this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and infrastructure components, such as virtualization, networking, storage, and security. You should be familiar with leading cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure (Must have), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Understand customers' overall applications portfolio, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions (Microsoft and 3rd party solutions)
• Architect technical solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects , Large Cloud Migration initiatives (J2C), and successful deployments, while orchestrating key resources and infusing key Infrastructure technologies (e.g. Windows and Linux IaaS, Security, Networking, etc.), and Application Development and DevOps technologies (e.g. App Service, containers, serverless, cloud native, etc.) as appropriate.
• Recommend and design solutions for Enterprise clients, considering best solution components including cloud Native and 3rd party solutions for Networking, Security, Storage ,Backup and Identity management.
• Leveraging Dev/ops methodologies to automate infrastructure deployments, including infrastructure as a Code (i.e. Terraform, ARM templates, etc.)
• Develop High-Level Technical Design, Low-Level Technical design, and Architecture Documents; Defines inter-dependencies and identifies dependencies at various different stages of design deployment.
• Deploy and implement Cloud solutions based on developed High level Architecture design.
• Attends Technical discussion meetings to gather the required information for the High-Level Technical Design Specification creation, and to make sure that the client requirements are correctly covered in the provided solution.
• Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment, based on Cloud Adoption framework and other cloud governance cloud migrations, and landing zone best practices.
• Conducts and lead technical workshops with customers, peers and third-party vendors.
• Guides technical implementation team on the approach and technical functions during the project deployment.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance and update to the documentation frameworks to support Technical Delivery, as per the Injazat standard process.
• Maintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Overall 15+ years of experiences in IT Industry and Services
• A minimum of 10+ years of technical Delivery and Implementation or technical consulting experience
• Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Architect/Implementation Engineer or in a similar role, with a track record of successfully designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, and large scale cloud migration projects (1000+ VMs)
• Proven experience as a Microsoft Infrastructure Architect/Engineer or in a similar role, with a track record of successfully designing and implementing Microsoft solutions including Active Directory, Exchange, WSUS, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, etc
• Knowledge in cloud architecture design principles, including scalability, availability, and security.
• Experience with cloud migration strategies and tools, and the ability to assess the feasibility and risks associated with cloud adoption.
• Proven experience with Containerization solutions Implementation and Design including K8S , AKS, EKS, etc
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as a Code implementation and design including Terraform, ARM, etc.
• Proven experience in large scale Cloud migration projects, including discovery, assessment, and migration for mission critical applications, using different tools.
• Proven experience in cloud Dev/Ops implementation and design.
• Experience with DR solutions and replication tools including Azure Site Recovery, carbonite
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• AWS certified Solutions Architect Associate
• Identity and access control with experience administering B2B and B2C applications as well as a working knowledge of Azure AD.
