We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Senior Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team, based in Abu Dhabi and contribute to the success of our projects in the Middle East.

As a Senior Landscape Architect at WSP, you will play a vital role in shaping the natural and built environment through your creative design solutions. Leveraging your 8+ years of experience, you will collaborate with a team of professionals to plan, design, and oversee the implementation of landscape projects that enhance the aesthetic, ecological, and functional aspects of our projects.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Landscape Design: Lead and participate in the conceptualization and detailed design of landscape elements for a diverse range of projects, including urban developments, parks, and infrastructure projects.
• Site Analysis: Conduct thorough site assessments, analyzing topography, soil conditions, climate, and existing vegetation to inform the design process.
• Plant Selection: Choose appropriate plant species and materials, considering local climate, sustainability, and aesthetic goals while ensuring compatibility with Saudi Arabian environmental conditions.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced CAD software and other design tools to create comprehensive landscape plans, construction documents, and specifications.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, civil engineers, and environmental consultants, to ensure seamless integration of landscape design with overall project objectives.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on local regulations and codes related to landscape design in Saudi Arabia, ensuring that all designs comply with legal requirements.
• Budget Management: Assist in budget estimation, cost control, and procurement related to landscape design elements, ensuring projects are executed within budget constraints.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their unique requirements, present design concepts, and maintain clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Sustainability: Advocate for sustainable design practices, integrating environmental principles and best practices into landscape projects.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in landscape design and architecture, preferably within the Middle East.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, GIS, SketchUp, Photoshop and other relevant design software.
• Strong knowledge of plant species, local environmental conditions, and landscape construction techniques.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Familiarity with UAE and Saudi Arabian landscape design regulations and standards is a plus.
• Professional licensure or certification in landscape architecture is preferred.
