Job Purpose

The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the EPCM FEED, design, onshore, and brownfield projects for the BP_ROO_EPCM project in Abudhabi, UAE. They will work closely with the project team to ensure successful project delivery within budget and schedule.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of engineers and designers to ensure project objectives are met.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
• Participate in project meetings, reviews, and presentations.
  
  

Functional Areas

• Project Management: Oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery.
• Engineering Design: Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of engineers and designers to achieve project objectives.
• Client Relations: Coordinate with clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Work closely with vendors and subcontractors to procure materials and services.
• Compliance: Ensure project compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
• Communication: Effectively communicate project progress, issues, and updates to stakeholders
• Problem-solving: Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address project challenges and obstacles
• Decision-making: Make informed decisions to keep the project on track and within budget and schedule.
  
  

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a related field
• 10+ years of experience in EPCM FEED, design, onshore, and brownfield projects
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
