Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer on the team, you possess exceptional writing skills, working independently in a fast-paced environment. You have a good understanding of the software development process and the technical expertise to learn and write about complex software, including the ability to interview Subject Matter Experts and write the documentation independently. You understand the difference between writing documentation for an audience of end users or administrators and have experience working with a variety of documentation styles and techniques.

The opportunity

Inception is the UAE’s national-scale enabler in AI Research and Development. Partnering with Microsoft's AI SaaS, we offer domain-specific Agentic AI Orchestrator platform utilizing reasoning agents for precise and cost-effective services. Our focus includes AI incubation, IP creation, applied AI R&D, and AI investment products. By creating models tailored to specific domains and languages, we ensure superior accuracy and efficiency. Collaborating with top universities and industry giants to drive significant advancements in AI technology within the region.

Your key responsibilities

• Analyze, evaluate information needs for projects and help define content requirements.
• Create high-quality application documentation, including User Manuals, Training Materials, Video Tutorials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Admin Guides, Release Notes, Knowledge Base, and other publications for both end users and internal teams.
• Review and edit your own work as well as performing peer reviews for other members of the team.
• Consistently author accurate content compliant with department and company standards.
• Research topics to be documented based on information from a variety of credible sources.
• Use customer feedback to drive content, process, delivery, or accessibility improvement.
  
  
  

Skills and attributes for success

• 5 - 7 years of experience writing technical documentation and training materials.
• Master in authoring tools, such as MadCap Flare and MS Word.
• Experience using software demo tools, such as Camtasia Studio or Adobe Captivate preferred.
• Experience in planning, researching, writing, and editing user-friendly documents.
• Ability to deliver quality documentation under tight deadlines with changing product requirements.
• Ability to proofread end-user, technical, marketing, and presales documents.
• Willingness to travel to client location (within and outside UAE), when required, at short notice and for longer periods on occasions.
