Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reservoir management and well surveillance plans.
- Identify and monitor reservoir capacity enhancement opportunities (e.g., wellwork proposals).
- Mentor junior engineers in surveillance techniques and critical thinking.
- Conduct pressure build-up and fall-off tests using Ecrin Suite.
- Perform wellbore hydraulic modeling using Integrated Production Modeling (Prosper).
- Execute surveillance activities in line with best engineering practices.
- Analyze production performance using OFM software; identify trends and interpret data.
- Provide recommendations to close performance gaps or improve business outcomes.
- Analyze fluid property data and guide sampling procedures.
- Collaborate with technical and leadership teams to prepare long-term reservoir development plans.
- Monitor progress against reservoir engineering work plans and suggest adjustments.
- Provide backup support for group leadership.
- Ensure adherence to professional engineering standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Reservoir Engineering (Master’s/Ph.D. preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in reservoir engineering, surveillance, management, and field development planning.
- Advanced knowledge in petroleum and reservoir engineering.
- Expertise in fluid properties and pressure analysis.
- Strong skills in formation evaluation and production logging.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Oil Field Manager (OFM)
- Integrated Production Modeling (IPM: Mbal, Prosper, GAP)
- Pressure Transient Analysis (Ecrin Suite)
