Senior Solution Architect

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect with deep expertise in ICT infrastructure and Nutanix, as well as a strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with physical infrastructure components, including servers, switches, routers, and firewalls. Familiarity with leading cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure is a significant plus.

In this role, you will design, implement, and oversee complex infrastructure solutions that span on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring they meet business needs and deliver scalability, security, and deficiency. This role requires a technical leader who can collaborate across teams and deliver robust and innovative infrastructure architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Design, implement, and manage comprehensive ICT infrastructure solutions, including physical hardware such as servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and data center technologies.

·      Architect and deploy scalable and secure solutions utilizing Nutanix hyper- converged infrastructure (HCI) and provide technical expertise for its optimization.

·      Lead initiatives around cloud-native technologies, including containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes, ensuring seamless integration with physical and cloud infrastructure.

·      Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement hybrid environments that integrate on-premise infrastructure with cloud providers (AWS, Azure).

·      Design network architectures and security frameworks to support enterprise-grade solutions, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.

·      Analyze and improve the performance, capacity, and scalability of infrastructure systems, aligning solutions with long-term business goals.

·      Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to infrastructure teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

·      Implement automation and monitoring solutions to streamline operations and improve system reliability.

·      Stay updated with the latest technology trends in ICT infrastructure, cloud-native tools, and industry best practices, proposing enhancements and driving adoption within the organization.

Ǫualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·      8+ years of experience in ICT infrastructure, focusing on servers, networking (switches, routers, firewalls), and data center technologies.

·      Strong hands-on experience with Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure solutions.

·      Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

·      In-depth understanding of networking principles, including experience with enterprise-grade switches and routers (e.g., Cisco, Juniper) and firewall solutions.

·      Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers is a plus.

·      Familiarity with storage technologies, data protection, and disaster recovery strategies.

·      Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.

·      Industry certifications in relevant fields such as Nutanix, Cisco, AWS, or Azure are advantageous.

Preferred Skills:

·      Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

·      Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

·      Experience with monitoring tools and frameworks for infrastructure and application performance.
