Alfa Laval is looking for a passionate Service Sales Manager for the Food and Water Division in the Middle East & Africa, based in Dubai.

Who you are?

As a Service Sales Manager, Responsible for formulating and executing a sales strategy for the designated area of responsibility, Middle East & Southeastern Africa, of Alfa Laval Products and Services in accordance with the assigned targets and local sales company/divisional strategy and targets.

Responsible for managing & ensuring growth for After Sales services & spare parts for multiple business units within the Food & Water Division.

Responsible for leading, developing and securing a high-performing sales team in line with the Alfa Laval culture. Need to be People Manager.

Responsible for managing and reviewing local pricing strategy for transactional items.

Job Description

  • Define the business strategy and plan for assigned area of responsibility according to Central and Local Division Strategy, plan and targets
  • Develop the business by driving relevant sales and business development activities to get the customer Loyalty and satisfaction: Market Analysis, Pricing, Visits, Seminars.

  • Forecasts Sales and budget and monitor progress against objectives and financial targets to identify problem areas to improve the performance.
  • Work proactive and structured with the sales and business development in order to optimize the sales efficiency of the team
  • Lead the sales team giving direction and ensuring that they are performing according with the plan and the sales process, with the special focus on lead to opportunity and opportunity to quote sub-process.
  • Develop, motivate and coach direct reports to secure the development of relevant sales and product/application competencies.
  • Engage with Marketing team for various campaigns, customer & partner events meant for networking, promotion & business development.
  • Develop pricing strategy for transactional items (spare parts) based on the regional business dynamics and involve in managing & reviewing the same periodically with Global pricing owners.
  • Engage with central business units to align on the strategies and ensure the same to be cascaded to local organization.
  • Engage actively in various cross functional company level initiatives and contribute to process improvement steps enabling better operational efficiencies.

Qualification & Experience

Experience: We are looking for 10-15 years+ of experience, out of which 5 years at a senior position handling business with P/L responsibility. Experience in handling high-speed separators, decanters, configured systems and Plate heat exchangers will be an advantage. He shall be well-versed in digital / IOT to help business transformation. Some of the qualities for the post are a Go-getter, a Curious mind, a dreamer, and a Strategic mindset to lead and develop high performance team.

Education: Mechanical or chemical engineering. A postgraduate in Business Administration will be an added advantage.
