Position: Specialist NICU - Abu Dhabi
We are currently seeking a highly experienced and compassionate specialist NICU to join our client's team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
As a specialist in NICU, you will be responsible for the care of critically ill newborn babies and will play a crucial role in their recovery and development. You will work alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals and will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise and knowledge to make a positive impact on the lives of our little patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a highly experienced and compassionate specialist NICU to join our client's team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
As a specialist in NICU, you will be responsible for the care of critically ill newborn babies and will play a crucial role in their recovery and development. You will work alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals and will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise and knowledge to make a positive impact on the lives of our little patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing specialized medical care to critically ill newborn babies in the NICU.
- Monitoring and managing the ventilation of premature and sick infants.
- Administering medications and treatments according to protocols.
- Communicate with parents and keep them informed of their baby's progress.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
- Participating in the development and implementation of best practices for NICU care.
- Training and supervising junior medical staff and nursing team.
- Ensuring compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and patient documentation.
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in NICU with extensive experience in ventilation.
- Advanced knowledge and skills in neonatal medicine and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
- Candidates must have a Western education/training.
