Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for leads and perform heavy cold-calling to build a pipeline of new businesses
  • Supervise accounts daily to retain existing relationships
  • Explore ways of upselling to existing customers – collaborate with customer service or retention team to drive growth for existing customers
  • Responsible for price and service negotiation with customers
  • Responsible for driving sales performance individually and at a team level to reach and exceed monthly and annual targets
  • Responsible for offering quotes to current and prospective clients
  • Closely collaborate with the Customer Service team to ensure smooth onboarding of clients and ensure satisfactory customer journey
  • Carry out research to identify companies not currently doing business with the organization
  • Be aware of the competition for potential and new clients and feed that data to Commercial and strategy team regularly.
  • Scan market for existing rates of logistics services and provide feedback to the pricing team for necessary
  • Update daily activities and interaction with potential and existing clients in CRM

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales or account management roles within the logistics industry.
