Job Description

The Senior Manager of Real Estate & Construction is a pivotal role that involves overseeing and managing all aspects of an organization's real estate and construction projects. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. A successful candidate will have extensive experience in real estate acquisitions, property management, project management, and construction oversight. This role will work closely with executive leadership to align real estate and construction strategies with company goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale projects, negotiating contracts, and maintaining relationships with vendors and stakeholders. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with real estate laws and regulations and managing budgets and schedules effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement real estate strategies in alignment with company objectives.
• Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Lead negotiations for property acquisitions, leases, and sales to optimize investments.
• Compile and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with all zoning laws and site-specific regulations.
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate the work of contractors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other technical consulting professionals.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for potential development.
• Manage a team of real estate and construction professionals, fostering skills growth.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with real estate development and construction.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring project requirements are met.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in real estate and construction management.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and lead diverse teams.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in financial analysis and budgeting.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and experience with contract management.
• In-depth knowledge of real estate laws, zoning regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
