Role Overview
As a Stock Controller for Specialized Sports Equipment, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining optimal stock levels of parts within our dealership. Based as part of our team in Dubai, you'll work in an ONSITE environment where you will be responsible for supporting efficient parts operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, and collaborating closely with parts, service, and sales teams to uphold high warehouse performance standards.
Responsibilities
As a Stock Controller for Specialized Sports Equipment, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining optimal stock levels of parts within our dealership. Based as part of our team in Dubai, you'll work in an ONSITE environment where you will be responsible for supporting efficient parts operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, and collaborating closely with parts, service, and sales teams to uphold high warehouse performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain precise records of all parts inventory using Dealer Management System/ERP and Excel tools.
- Monitor stock daily, initiate timely reorders, and ensure parts availability for business needs.
- Analyze aged and slow-moving stock and propose clearance strategies, such as internal use or promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and service departments for accurate demand forecasting and stock alignment.
- Participate in regular physical inventory audits and cycle counts, resolving discrepancies efficiently.
- Investigate stock variances and implement corrective measures to uphold inventory accuracy.
- Generate comprehensive inventory reports, highlighting trends and suggesting optimization opportunities.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and safety-compliant handling of all parts.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives aimed at maximizing warehouse efficiency and stock turnover.
- Uphold strict adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures in all inventory activities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or closely related disciplines.
- 3–5 years of experience in parts coordination or inventory control, ideally within the automotive sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and data visualization).
- Expertise with Dealer Management Systems such as Autoline, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAP.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on inventory management principles, KPIs, and best practices.
- Detail-oriented and outcome-driven, with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive approach to proposing and executing effective inventory solutions.
- Exceptional team collaboration, interpersonal communication, and multitasking abilities.
- Adaptability and eagerness to embrace new processes, technologies, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
