About the Role:

Miral Experiences is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement / Category Manager to develop and deliver strategic sourcing initiatives that drive profitability, supplier performance, and operational efficiency across our supply chain. This role plays a pivotal part in transforming procurement practices within the organization, optimizing processes, and delivering long-term value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and sole-source procurement.
• Develop and implement category and sub-category strategies, focusing on long-term strategic partnerships.
• Leverage Miral group spend to identify consolidation opportunities, value engineering, and supply chain optimization.
• Build and manage strong supplier relationships to drive performance and ensure contractual compliance.
• Support procurement-related negotiations, coaching, and mentoring across the business.
• Act as an ambassador for procurement, promoting best practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with internal departments and senior leadership to optimize supply chain and procurement practices.
• Contribute to internal and external training to enhance supply chain and strategic sourcing knowledge.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, or related field. Membership in the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (or studying towards it) is essential.
• Experience:
• 10+ years in Procurement, with significant experience in Strategic Sourcing or Category Management.
• 5+ years applying advanced category management techniques, managing complex tenders, and leading contract and supplier management initiatives.
• 2+ years of procurement experience within the UAE / GCC.
• Experience in international strategic procurement is a plus.

• Strong leadership, planning, and delivery capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Results-oriented with proven performance management experience.
• Expertise in sourcing strategies, supply market analysis, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management.
• Strong commercial awareness, risk management, and strategic thinking.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
