Tasks

  • Assess and analyze structural integrity of deteriorated reinforced concrete elements.
  • Supervise and manage all phases of structural repair works, including crack injection, spall repairs, grouting, and epoxy applications.
  • Oversee installation, monitoring, and maintenance of cathodic protection systems.
  • Evaluate durability issues related to sulfate attack, carbonation, and corrosion and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Review and interpret structural, architectural, and MEP shop drawings to coordinate work effectively.
  • Manage a multicultural workforce on-site to achieve target outputs in quality and time.
  • Ensure correct use of materials, equipment, and machines throughout construction activities.
  • Lead site coordination with consultants and management to resolve technical queries and execution challenges.

Qualifications

  • Formal education in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Specialized training in concrete repair, rehabilitation, and ICCP systems
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Concrete Repair, Rehabilitation, and ICCP Systems
  • Proven supervisory experience on structural rehabilitation projects
  • Experience with historic or heritage structures and their conservation requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of ICCP (Impressed Current Cathodic Protection) and sacrificial anode systems
  • Strong understanding of concrete repair systems, structural rehabilitation techniques, and corrosion mitigation methods
  • Familiarity with concrete mix design, testing protocols, and durability assessments
  • Solid grasp of the full construction lifecycle: from material selection to final reinstatement
