Superintendent (HWOU)

The Hydraulic Workover Superintendent is responsible for overseeing offshore hydraulic workover unit (HWU) operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of well intervention, workover, and completion activities. This role involves managing the HWU crew, coordinating with offshore and onshore teams, and ensuring adherence to operational, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Leadership: Supervise and coordinate all hydraulic workover and snubbing activities offshore, ensuring adherence to well intervention programs.
* Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards, offshore safety protocols, and company policies.
* Crew & Equipment Management: Lead and oversee HWU personnel, ensuring proper equipment maintenance, rig-up/down procedures, and troubleshooting.
* Coordination & Communication: Act as the primary offshore point of contact, liaising with onshore engineers, company representatives, and rig/platform personnel.
* Procedural Execution: Ensure workover operations, including tubing pull & run, casing repair, plug setting, fishing, and well control, are performed according to plan.
* Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Identify and resolve operational issues, implementing corrective actions when needed.
* Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of job performance, equipment status, safety reports, and operational challenges.

Qualifications & Experience:
* 15+ years of experience in well intervention, snubbing, or hydraulic workover operations.
* Strong offshore experience, preferably in deepwater or high-pressure wells.
* Certified in well control (IWCF or IADC WellSharp) and offshore safety (BOSIET/HUET).
* Extensive knowledge of hydraulic workover equipment, pressure control systems, and offshore regulations.
* Leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in offshore environments.
