Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring smooth and reliable operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, both onsite and remotely, ensuring minimal downtime for end-users.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and network devices.
  • Manage and monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions proactively.
  • Assist with user administration tasks, including account creation, permissions, and password management.
  • Maintain and update system documentation, including installation guides, process workflows, and troubleshooting logs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices to provide optimal support.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in a system support or IT support role.
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with network configuration, troubleshooting, and security (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.).
  • Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, including desktops, servers, printers, and peripherals.
  • Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Basic understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
