Job Description
Responsible for managing the recruitment section within the facility for ensuring the effective management and implementation of organization’s policies. The role is also responsible for ensuring that recruitments activities are being done according to the approved policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Developing policies and procedures for the section
Establishing the strategic plan for the section after carefully analysing the current processes and strategies in the relevant competitor market
Cascading the plan within the section to make sure that it is emulated by each memebr of the team
Working in partnership with Human Resource colleagues and recruiting Managers to develop proactive recruitment policy, practices and initiatives which support recruitment of high quality staff
Coordinating and participating in reviewing the policies and procedures on regular basis
Developing plans and procedures to govern aspects of the section in accordance with the established policies
Following up the policies and procedures and ensuring that they remain applicable and competitive with that of similar institutions
Developing plans and databases for the section
To coordinate with Regional HR Director about manpower budget.
Building the progress of manpower database and its related information, reports and printouts
Ensuring maintenance of records of approved manpower establishment, vacancies, potential radiance and recruitment database
Maintaining department recruitment status on a regular basis and disseminating information to concerned departments as required
Maintaining overall working of the section
Processing the day to day operations within the Recruitmentsection
Determining the facility’s Human Resource requirements in coordination with each department Managers/directors identifying the required caliber and skills to ensure the availability of the appropriate manpower at time
Maintaining the facility organization chart and ensuring that it is being adhered to by each individual department and any change is affected through the proper channel and final approval of the Management
Liaising with facility departments to ensure recruitment related issues are taken care of
Ensuring that job descriptions are available for each employee/job and are regularly developed and improved to match with the actual job done by each employee
Communicating with recruiters, if required to expedite the processing of candidates files
Interacting with or interviewing the candidate as and when required concerning issues of recruitment, salaries etc
Ensuring that recruitment procedures support the business objectives and comply with the recruitment and selection policy
Managing the Human Resource recruitment and administration team, including the development and operation of appropriate recruitment/selection methodologies to ensure that the organization is able to deploy resources in the most effective and efficient manner
Frequently auditing the data held within the resource planning tools to ensure up-to-date and accurate production of effective forecasts for the creation of shift patterns and schedules
Ensuring appropriate feedback mechanisms are in place to maintain accuracy and alignment of data and functionality
Ensuring that policies related to manpower planning and forecasting are being adhered to while preparing yearly forecasts
Ensuring the new hiring is being done with respect to the annual manpower plan
Coordinating with department Managers to ensure that half yearly review of the manpower plan is taking place
Ensuring good customer service in the department/section
Communicating effectively the recruitment philosophy of the facility to the current and prospective employees
Answering employee’s various queries and concerns during their service at the facility regarding employee’s eligibilities and rights in accordance with the facility policy.
Maintaining collaborative and effective relationships with other key management personnel and keeps abreast of significant economic, social and technical trends, and regulatory guidelines, which may influence assigned functions/services and/or the facility
Reporting
Ensuring the preparation of the new arrivals report
Maintaining the manpower plan and highlighting any deviations
Preparing monthly statistical reports to Regional HR Director and other reports as required
Preparing documentation pertaining to the recruitment committees, panels etc.
Managing the team
Planning and supervising the day to day activities of the section; streamlining processes wherever possible
Evaluating workload, conducting performance evaluation and initiating necessary disciplinary actions
Providing on the job training and orienting the team during course of work
Understanding the training requirements of the team and communicating the same for the benefit of the training department
Qualifications

4-6 years of relevant progressive experience in a similar role
