As a Warehouse Team Leader at Halcon, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily warehouse operations — ensuring efficient receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials, including explosives and non-explosives. You will manage a team of warehouse staff, maintain compliance with safety regulations, and ensure all facility licenses and documentation remain valid. This position requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and adherence to safety and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations for both explosive and non-explosive materials.
• Ensure all materials are received, stored, and issued efficiently in compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain storage within approved explosive limits and ensure adherence to all safety regulations.
• Oversee import and export shipments, ensuring timely coordination and zero demurrage or storage costs.
• Manage documentation for goods movement, ensuring accuracy in ERP records and inventory tracking.
• Coordinate with logistics and internal departments for smooth material handling and dispatch.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, facility conditions, and compliance with Civil Defence and MoD requirements.
• Support HSE initiatives by ensuring proper use of PPE, adherence to safety systems, and emergency preparedness.
• Train, guide, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure continuous performance improvement.
• Prepare and monitor warehouse and logistics budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Supervise maintenance, license renewals, and ensure operational readiness of all warehouse facilities.
  
  

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Professional certification in warehouse or logistics management is an advantage.
  
  

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse or store operations.
• Experience handling hazardous materials or explosives preferred.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety, inventory control, and ERP systems.
