The Role
Guildhall is hiring a Technical Manager for a large-scale infrastructure projects in Dubai. This role will be based on a complex transportation-related development, requiring strong technical oversight across civil and structural works in a highly regulated environment. The Technical Manager will play a key role in managing design coordination, technical compliance, and interface management between consultants, contractors, and internal project teams, ensuring works are delivered to required standards, specifications, and programme. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage all technical aspects of civil engineering works on site - Coordinate with design consultants to review drawings, technical submissions, and method statements - Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, and authority requirements - Manage technical interfaces between multiple disciplines and stakeholders - Support construction teams by resolving technical issues during execution - Review and approve shop drawings, materials submittals, and technical reports - Participate in design coordination meetings and technical workshops - Provide technical input to construction planning and sequencing - Ensure design intent is correctly implemented during construction

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory) - Minimum 10+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or transportation-related projects - Previous experience working on complex, high-specification projects (e.g. airport or similar environments) - Strong background with main contractors / EPC or large international contractors - Solid understanding of civil works including foundations, concrete structures, and major infrastructure interfaces - Proven experience coordinating with consultants and authorities - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Experience in the Middle East is preferred - Fluent in English
