Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization and its customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions for the applied products and technology. The work model for the role is: #Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Business Division. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Offers technical advice and provides comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers with regard to ABB products/systems/ applications.
- Provides technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations.
- Performs analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs.
- Proposes technical solutions for complex enquiries.
- Prepares and delivers technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues.
- Offers product/solution/service-related training.
- Prepares and checks technical articles for publication and technical support letters as per project requirements.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Technical Sales Support function ideally from the Electrical Engineering space.
- Good understanding of electrical drawings.
- Exposure in inspection / FAT.
- Experience in Electrical troubleshooting a plus.
