Overview Of The Role

The Diagnostic Master Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools. The goal of this role is to provide an exceptional customer experience and improve retention while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

What You Will Do

• Achieve overall productivity targets set by management
• Perform diagnosis, general repair, periodic maintenance, and accessories fitment as per the repair manual
• Ensure 100% compliance with the Fix It Right process and meet Fix It Right targets
• Follow Health & Safety Work Procedures with 100% compliance
• Ensure quality and accuracy in Electronic Vehicle Check reporting
• Support Technical Advisors with advanced repair on hybrid, petrol, diesel, and hydrogen-powered vehicles
• Assist in data capture for Repair Support Requests, perform quality checks, and conduct road tests
• Create Electronic Warranty Approval Requests in the Dealer Management System
• Conduct on-the-job training for Technicians and Diagnostic Technicians
• Use special service tools and general tools inventory correctly and responsibly
• Work with Controllers and Technical Advisors to deliver vehicles on time based on advisor promises or customer demand
• Collaborate daily with Team Leaders, Pro Technicians, and Diagnostic Technicians to support technical skill development
  
  

Required Skills To Be Successful

• Diploma or technical certification (ITI NCVT Certificate or ITC)
• Certified Technician status
• Diagnostic Master Technician certification from an Automotive Academy
• 5–7 years of experience as a Diagnostic Technician (retail automotive experience preferred)
• Valid UAE driving license
• Manual dexterity, technical, mechanical, and advanced computer skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, repair manuals, and wiring diagrams
• Familiarity with quality control processes to ensure accuracy and prevent rework
• Resilience, motivation, and commitment to personal development
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong analytical and diagnostic thinking
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams
