Responsibilities:

• Utilize iTraffic data analytics, CRM, Solarwinds, InforEAM and other data data sources to evaluate Traffic Management Center’s technical performance and providing recommendations on system enhancements.
• Validate outputs of traffic incidents / congestion model from iTraffic.
• Prepare concise reports and data visualization for management that will help in decision-making process.
• Analyse traffic and transportation data, perform trend analysis and communicate the results to the relevant team (managers, planners, implementers and operators)
• Conduct routine and special analysis which involves compiling data, analysing results, preparing and maintaining documentation, proposing and implementing recommendations.
• Collect data from various database systems and perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis for internal and external requests.
• Create and maintain reports and data analysis support to ongoing projects to help guide business decisions.
• Present transportation and Operational data analysis and reports intended for internal and external stakeholders
  
  

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized institution
• Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 5 years of experience in deploying projects in the field of traffic & transportation
• Solid working knowledge of Big Data platforms such as Hadoop, Casandra.
• Good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
• Excellent knowledge in machine and deep learning methods, data mining tools and techniques, services, protocols and standards.
• Possess demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret and present large amounts of data to the client.
• Familiar with transportation and traffic modelling and simulation tools such VISSIM, Synchro etc.
• Knowledge on any ETL (extract, transform and load) tools will be of an advantage.
• Have experience in relevant software applications in achieving the desired objectives in analysis of big data.
