We are seeking a talented individual to join our Energy & Power team at Marsh. This role will be based in Dubai and is a hybrid position, requiring at least three days a week in the office.

As a Placement Leader in Energy & Power, you will play a crucial role in leading our placement activities across the IMEA region, focusing on deepening market relationships and providing tailored placement solutions for our clients in the Energy & Power sector. You will oversee a team of brokers, ensuring alignment with our key hub relationships in London and Singapore while driving innovative strategies to meet complex client needs.

We will count on you to:

  • Lead and mentor a team of placing brokers, coordinating workloads to meet client demands effectively.
  • Develop and implement placement strategies utilizing your risk expertise and industry knowledge.
  • Foster strong relationships with carriers and underwriters to create innovative solutions for unique client needs.
  • Audit and finalize commission structures in accordance with client agreements and directives.
  • Stay informed on changing insurance and risk market conditions, communicating major developments to clients and internal teams.
  • Actively participate in internal networks to enhance knowledge of the firm’s product lines and contribute to the development of new products.

  • Proven experience in a placement broker role within the Energy & Power sector.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and insurance market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on performance oversight and mentorship.
