Job Description

The job role is to support the warehouse team in the physical handling of cargo movements in the warehouse. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team at Abu Dhabi to support and work with us to deliver our customers’ strategy by providing quality service and utmost customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the job include:

• loading/unloading contents of containers/trucks under the guidance of the Operations Team Leader.
• Palletizing cargo wherever necessary.
• General housekeeping related to assigned tasks.
• Identifying product specifications as instructed by the Operations Team Leader.
• Assisting the Operations Team Leader in inventory checks.
• Accompanying delivery trucks to unload cargo at customer premises, when necessary; and
• Adherence to health and safety procedures while handling cargo.
  
  

The Successful Candidate Will Also Be Tasked With

• Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock
  
  

Maintain quality standards while handling cargo and complete the task in the specified time. Observe safe loading and unloading practices.

• Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves
  
  

Ensure minimal/zero damage to the cargo and avoid potential accidents.

• Accuracy and efficiency
  
  

Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.

• Inventory Management
  
  

Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency

• Housekeeping
  
  

Complete housekeeping efficiently and maintain hygiene standards in the working environment. Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency

• Teamwork
  
  

Show moral courage, openness and honesty and demonstrate a collaborative approach when dealing with others.

Job requirements

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Basic knowledge of English – verbal and written.
• Physical stamina to load and unload cargo under different temperature conditions.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
