Responsibilities:
- Review and approve Yellow Plant engineering deliverables for compliance with codes, stand-ards, specifications, and integration requirements.
- Conduct interdisciplinary design reviews to ensure coordination and consistency across draw-ings, specifications, and interface documents.
- Lead design/progress and comment-resolution meetings, tracking actions and closing issues to protect schedule and quality.
- Supervise, attend, and witness First Article Inspections (FAI), Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and software testing for Yellow Plant and related equipment.
- Review and approve FAI/FAT and testing reports before dispatch to the site.
- Confirm and certify that processes for achieving, verifying, and documenting performance meet defined objectives and criteria.
- Oversee and manage the implementation of Safety Verification Plans; ensure delivery of Safety Verification Reports.
- Review and accept testing and commissioning plans, including Pass/Fail criteria, for Yellow Plant and interface tests with other railway systems.
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) through inspections, audits, and site visits, covering manufacturing, construction, and installation activities.
- Inspect materials and equipment delivered to site for compliance with approved design.
- Manage and close out non-compliances and quality issues with contractors.
- Monitor and control HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) compliance on site, including regular inspections and audits.
- Review and approve security plans, monitor implementation, and report progress to the employer.
- Coordinate with local authorities to ensure compliance with public regulations.
- Provide supervision of construction, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and installation to ensure works meet contract and stakeholder requirements.
- Prepare and submit management plans for construction and manufacturing supervision.
- Interface with project management and other stakeholders to ensure integration and delivery of Yellow Plant for maintenance of the high-speed rail (HSR) network.
- University degree (preferably Master’s and/or Chartered Engineer status)
- Minimum 15 years of experience in managing design and/or construction of rail projects, spe-cific in the relevant field
- Experience in delivering High-Speed Rail (HSR) projects is highly preferable
- Must have held a similar role in at least one project of comparable size and complexity
- Local Experience in Middle East and/or UAE project experience is advantageous
- Fluent in spoken and written English ins mandatory; Arabic language skills would be an ad-vantage
- Strong skills in project management, integration, testing and commissioning, and interface management
- Proven experience supervising and managing Yellow Plant for maintenance of high-speed rail network
- Capable of attending and supervising factory acceptance testing, safety verification, and inter-face testing for Yellow Plant and related systems
