Our Marketing department would like to welcome a detail-oriented Social Media Copywriter for a fully remote position working closely with our Dubai-based team.

This position is open to remote candidates globally. Applicants located in Dubai will be considered for a full-time, on-site employment arrangement.

This role is ideal for a skilled storyteller who can write YouTube video scripts, social media captions and scripts, and Reddit content that both drive audience engagement and help Equiti get cited by AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Gemini.

The Social Media Copywriter will play a crucial role in shaping Equiti Group’s video and social content, producing engaging YouTube scripts, captions, and Reddit posts that align with the brand’s tone of voice, resonate with our global audience, and are structured to be surfaced and cited by AI tools. This position reports directly to the Social Content Manager and will require close collaboration with video editors, social media managers, content creators, designers, animators, Head of Brand, Chief Marketing Officer and other key stakeholders worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, story-driven YouTube video scripts that drive audience engagement and are structured to be picked up and cited by AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini).
• Launch, scale and grow Equiti Group’s presence on Reddit. Create authentic, community-first Reddit posts and comments that spark discussion, build credibility, and help Equiti become a source that AI tools prefer to cite.
• Write clear, engaging social media captions and short scripts for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn that boost engagement and reinforce Equiti’s presence in AI search results. Craft content that enhances brand storytelling while applying both SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) best practices, so it ranks on YouTube and surfaces in AI-generated answers.
• Research trending topics, audience conversations, and competitor content, including relevant subreddits and Reddit threads, to inform scripts and captions and to track what AI tools are surfacing.
• Maintain and uphold Equiti Group’s brand tone of voice, ensuring content is clear, accurate, and compliant across all deliveries.
• Work alongside designers, animators, and video producers to bring scripts to life in a visually compelling way.
• Present script, caption, and content concepts and final drafts to the Social Content Manager, Head of Brand, project stakeholders, and CMO.
• Manage multiple content projects simultaneously, from ideation to final execution.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong creative and storytelling abilities across YouTube scripts, social captions, and Reddit posts.
• Proven track record of driving YouTube or other video platforms (TikTok, Snapchat) growth through data-driven strategies.
• Excellent understanding of financial content strategies, video scripting and caption writing, and how content earns both audience engagement and AI citations.
• Knowledge of SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) principles and how they apply to video, social, and community content.
• Ability to write scripts that align with performance marketing strategies for paid YouTube ads.
• Experience in collaborating with designers, video editors, and marketing teams to produce effective content.
• High degree of self-motivation and ambition, with a proactive approach to content ideation and execution.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain brand consistency across multiple platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to pitch ideas and articulate creative decisions.
• Adaptability to fast-paced environments, managing deadlines and multiple projects effectively.

Experience Requirements

• 4+ years of experience writing YouTube scripts, social media captions, or branded content across video, social, and community platforms.
• 2+ years experience moderating Reddit and/or growing corporate Reddit threads.
• Experience working across multinational companies, ensuring messaging is effectively translated for global audiences.
• Familiarity with AI search optimization (GEO) and/or building a credible brand presence on Reddit is a strong plus.
• Experience in developing scripts that align with marketing objectives, brand awareness, and lead generation goals.
• A portfolio showcasing a range of work, including video scripts, social captions, and community or brand storytelling pieces.
• Comfort with analytics and performance tracking, including engagement metrics and, ideally, AI or search visibility.
