Accountant (Events - Contractual Role)

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading events company seeking a highly skilled Revenue Collector in the UAE. This role is crucial in optimizing revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial reporting to enhance profitability and operational efficiency. You will work closely with the Project Accountant, overseeing all programming, curation, and guest experience elements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily cash flow management for the project or organization, ensuring that funds are available for operational needs.
• Ensure timely collection and proper documentation of POS sales reports from retail or sales channels.
• Act as the main point of contact for vendors regarding payment issues, invoicing concerns, and reconciliation requests.
• Act as the liaison between the project team, project accountant, and other relevant departments to ensure the accurate and timely flow of financial data.
• Prepare and summarize financial data, including cash flow, POS sales, vendor transactions, and project expenses, for the project accountant.
• Collect relevant data from the project team, vendors, and sales teams to assist the project accountant in accurate revenue reporting.
• Identify areas to improve the accuracy and efficiency of data collection, cash management, and reporting processes.
  
  

Requirements

• 2-3 years of event production experience, managing complex, multi-site events revenue in the Middle East.
• Experience in festivals, sports, and large-scale public events.
• Graduate in Bachelors in Commerce.
• Accounting Certificate is highly preferred.
• Available onsite during events and offsite before and after events.- Professional, self-motivated, and able to drive projects to completion.
• Confident and effective communicator.
