We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice – Electrical to join our dynamic team in a leading consultancy company. This role provides hands-on training and experience in electrical engineering across various infrastructure and building projects. The successful candidate will support project teams with technical tasks while gaining valuable insight into design, planning, and project execution in a professional consultancy environment.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Assist mechanical engineers in the preparation and review of mechanical system designs and documentation.
• Support in drafting HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection layouts and schematics.
• Participate in technical site visits, data collection, and equipment inspections.
• Learn to apply relevant codes, standards, and client requirements in mechanical design.
• Help develop Bill of Quantities (BOQs), material specifications, and schedules.
• Assist with CAD/BIM software tools such as AutoCAD or Revit MEP under supervision.
• Collaborate with electrical and structural disciplines to ensure integrated system design.
• Maintain accurate records, drawings, and design notes for project documentation.
• Stay informed of industry developments, technologies, and best practices.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• High school diploma or technical certification in mechanical or related field (required).
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a mechanical engineering diploma, vocational course, or apprenticeship program.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) and design principles.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar software is a plus.
• Strong interest in engineering and a desire to learn in a consultancy setting.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
