Custom Broker – Dubai – UAE

We are looking for a Customs Broker to strengthen our operations team in Dubai, managing customs clearance activities across both DAFZA and Mainland.The successful candidate will oversee customs declarations and regulatory compliance for imports, exports, and temporary movements of goods. You will ensure full adherence to UAE Customs Law, VAT regulations, and Free Zone policies while coordinating closely with Dubai Customs, DNATA, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit customs declarations through Mirsal I & II systems
• Classify goods accurately using the and ensure proper valuation
• Handle regular importation, exportation, temporary importation, re-export, ATA Carnet, and cross-border movements in compliance with Dubai Customs regulations
• Liaise with Dubai Customs, Free Zone authorities, and DNATA Cargo for inspections, clearances, and document audits
• Monitor updates in customs and trade compliance policies, ensuring procedures and documentation remain current
• Advise internal teams and clients on customs laws, duty implications, and special procedures
• Maintain strong communication with Custom Authority and internal and external stakeholders 

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in customs brokerage 
• Proven operational knowledge of both Mainland and DAFZA
• Hands-on experience with Mirsal I & II and Dubai Trade systems
• Deep understanding of Dubai Customs Law, GCC Customs Union, VAT framework, and UAE compliance regulations
• Familiarity with ATA Carnet procedures, temporary admissions, and duty suspension regimes
• Experience working directly with DNATA cargo terminals for air freight operations
• Certification such as Certified Customs Expert (CCE) from Dubai Trade preferred
• Arabic and Fluency in English required
• Experience managing luxury and valuable cargo preferred
