Our client, a leading FMCG distribution company, is seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join their dynamic team in Dubai. The role is critical in ensuring maximum product availability, accurate demand forecasting, and smooth coordination across procurement, supply chain, and sales functions. The ideal candidate will have strong FMCG experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Demand Forecasting: Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonal factors to develop accurate product demand forecasts.
• Procurement & Supply Coordination: Partner with procurement to align supply with forecasted demand, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely replenishment.
• Inventory Optimization: Monitor inventory KPIs and implement strategies to minimize excess stock while avoiding shortages.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure demand plans are aligned with business operations.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize advanced Excel and analytical tools to generate demand reports, monitor performance, and support strategic decision-making.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the FMCG sector, with at least 3+ years in demand planning and local procurement.
• Strong expertise in demand forecasting, inventory control, and data analytics.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, dashboards, etc.).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with shifting priorities.
