What you'll do

The F&B Marketing Manager contributes in setting and executing the media / marketing strategy for The Lana Hotel Food & Beverage outlets.

In conjugation with the Executive Chefs, Restaurant General Managers, Director of Marketing and Director of Food and Beverage, the F&B Marketing Manager plays an integral role in the development and execution of the Restaurants and Bars annual strategic marketing plan comprised of public relations, social media, and marketing communications strategies that support the business objectives. Through strategic thinking and execution, increase awareness and visibility of the outlets and its food and beverage offerings and team, the F&B Marketing Manager also contributes to driving traffic and revenues.

  • You will co-develop annual F&B marketing strategy and action plan (per DC Guidelines), co-develop and execute business goals, preserve brand and concept integrity in all elements of the marketing process.
  • In partnership with DOMC, you will coordinate and oversees any F&B related photo- and video shoots to ensure all F&B visual assets are in line with the DC brand standards.
  • You will design and implement innovative programs and campaigns that increase awareness of F&B, its offerings and dynamic team.
  • You will lead F&B's digital strategy with a proactive and creative approach to all available digital marketing platforms from planning to implementation and reporting.
  • You will actively manage the Lana proprietary F&B website pages with the support of the Digital Specialist, ensuring alignment with the positioning and business objectives and creative storytelling, as well as ensuring up-to-date information on partner and third - party websites.
  • You will manage F&B social media channels, from strategy to content creation, daily channel management and ad hoc reporting. You will illustrate the power and resulting impact of a strategic social presence through effective monitoring and evaluation tools.
  • You will coordinate any promotional menus with the Executive Chef and Restaurant General Managers as well as beverage menus with Beverage Manager.
  • You will also project manage seasonal collaterals, including the negotiation of costs, a production timeline and the editing of each draft, and ensure final artwork is signed off by all required signees, prior to distribution.

  • Very creative & ideally can create content on phone and camera.
  • Experienced with content creation, influencer partnership, and P&R strategies specific to hospitality and F&B.
  • Pro-active and inquisitive mind set to develop problem solving, decision making, conflict resolution and strategic thinking skills.
  • Perfectionist with eye for detail comfortable with all social environments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a strong sense of creativity and innovation.
  • Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
  • English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language. French or Arabic is a plus.
