Key Responsibilities

• Emergency Response: React promptly to fire incidents, hazardous materials situations, and other emergencies in diverse settings (industrial, aviation, municipal).
• Fire Suppression & Control: Utilize firefighting equipment, tools, and apparatus following NFPA guidelines.
• Rescue Operations: Conduct search and rescue missions, including confined spaces or high-risk environments, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Inspection & Maintenance: Perform regular checks of equipment, facilities, and apparatus to ensure compliance with NFPA standards.
• Training & Drills: Participate in continual training, drills, and skill-building exercises to stay operationally ready.
• Reporting: Document incidents, inspections, and training as required by client and regulatory standards.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• NFPA Certifications:
• Essential: NFPA 1001 (Fire Fighter I/II)
• Desired: NFPA 1081 (Industrial Fire Brigade), NFPA 472/1072 (Hazmat), or other specialized NFPA certifications
  
• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant firefighting or emergency services experience (municipal, industrial, or military).
• Physical Fitness: Proven ability to meet the demands of firefighting; must pass medical and fitness assessments where required.
• Team Focus: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to operate in high-stress, culturally diverse environments.
• Preferred Extras: EMT/Paramedic certification, rope rescue, confined space rescue, NEBOSH/IOSH health and safety qualifications, or other advanced training.
