Food and Beverage Interns

We have a great opportunity for internships to join our Food and Beverage team. The successful applicant(s) will have a eagerness to grow within the Food and Beverage Service coupled with a passion for learning. The intern(s) will assist in the daily operation of the hotel outlets (e.g. Sofra bld Restaurant, Afya Restaurant, Shang Palace Restaurant, Bord Eau Restaurant, Pool Bar / Amalfi)

What are we looking for?

• Hardworking and willing to learn.
• Passionate about Food and Beverages process, procedure, and guest engagement.
• Must be able to multitask and highly adaptable.
• Efficient, punctual, and presentable.
• Effective communication skills with colleagues / management, multilingual and have the ability to speak either/or Arabic, French, German, Russian, or Chinese would be highly preferred.
• Able to work as part of a team.

What will you do?

• Work with hotel colleagues to keep excellent service standards.
• Listen to colleague/ manager requests and carry out daily duties correctly and efficiently.
• Perform job duties as advised by the head of the department.
• Regularly maintain attendance by reporting to shift timing as advised.
• Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork skills with colleagues and other departments.
• Ensure to maintain the training plan effectively.
