As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Direct calls to appropriate departments or personnel.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Take and relay messages accurately and efficiently.
- Assist guests with inquiries and resolve issues or complaints.
- Maintain a polite and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Handle wake-up calls and special requests from guests.
- Monitor and manage phone systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure seamless guest service.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect guest information.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or communication is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service or telephone operator role preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a clear and pleasant speaking voice.
- Proficient in using telephone systems and related technology.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest complaints professionally.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
