As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs for hotel facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct inspections of hotel premises to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace faulty equipment, fixtures, and systems.
• Maintain, repair, and test electrical systems and appliances within the hotel.
• Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities are in optimal working condition.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, and minor repairs.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repair work when necessary.
• Respond promptly to guest complaints and requests related to maintenance.
• Maintain a record of maintenance work, parts, and repairs in the hotel's system.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health standards.
• Help maintain the hotel’s overall cleanliness and aesthetic by performing light repairs and upkeep.
• Work as part of the hotel’s team to support the overall guest experience.
  
  

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or general technician in a hotel or similar setting.
• Knowledge of hotel systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical operations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to fix complex issues.
• Basic carpentry, painting, and plumbing skills.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Good communication skills and customer-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting heavy equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in maintenance or electrical work are a plus.
• Familiarity with hotel safety regulations and emergency protocols.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
