We’re seeking a talented manager to join our Middle East Finance & Strategy Team. As the scale and complexity of Deliveroo grow daily, we need dynamic, entrepreneurial, analytical thinkers to support in optimising decision making and driving quick, profitable growth. This is a perfect opportunity to become part of a team responsible for one of the fastest-growing players in online food delivery. As a trusted business partner to the Middle East business, you will be setting strategic direction, modelling out the impact of key strategic initiatives, and tracking performance vs. our ambitious financial and commercial plans. 

Role

Provide analytical-driven insight to support functional leads and understand the P&L impact of those decisions. You will work with stakeholders to manage data and model strategic initiatives to drive the long-term growth of the business. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving difficult problems, has strong analytical capabilities, is hands on and a self-starter, and can work closely with senior management.

The job will involve:

• Delivering in-depth business analysis for Country leadership teams, leveraging your financials, analytical & strategic experience to provide key actionable insights and help shape decisions.


• Owning the financial forecasting process, working in close collaboration across all functions of the business to ensure accuracy & exhaustiveness of the forecast.


• Aiding in understanding and shaping the overall business performance against targets and previous years. 


• Ensuring data accuracy of the P&Ls and key performance metrics, and providing actionable insights to improve performance, anticipate returns on investments, and manage results expectations.


• Partnering across functions in identifying, modelling, and actioning appropriate strategic initiatives and supporting (in some cases driving) execution of overall long-range plans.


• Driving projects to improve efficiency on the way we operate by building new tools and processes.


• Managing a team of 1 F&S Associate.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an analytical and strategic role 


• You are humble, patient, yet hungry for driving improvement and take ownership with a minimal level of guidance


• You hold yourself accountable to deliver results while being comfortable getting your hands dirty to get the job done. You demonstrate a whatever it takes attitude


• Financial modelling; can demonstrate strong analytical achievements and confidence with numbers 


• Clear, confident communicator with experience influencing senior stakeholders 


• A pragmatic, commercial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity


• Experience working in a dynamic high-growth company


• Strong motivation with the ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines


• Fluent English (written and spoken)
