- Financial Oversight:
- Manage the facilities budget / business plan effectively, ensuring cost-effectiveness, monitoring expenses, and optimizing resource allocation to meet specific needs.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Manage and lead the facilities team, promoting a positive work culture, encouraging professional development, and ensuring a cohesive team focused on achieving the department goals.
- Space Optimization:
- Strategically plan and optimize space utilization, coordinating office layouts, moves, and fit out works to accommodate evolving requirements while fostering a conducive work environment.
- Maintenance Approach:
- Oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure high-quality work and timely completion of tasks.
- Implement an effective maintenance strategy and manage it to ensure that landlord assets are maintained at an optimal operational level.
- Assets’ Management:
- Manage the inventory of assets, equipment and materials owned by DP World within the area.
- Oversee the asset life cycle assessment plan, create replacement plan and track progress.
- Create and promote the integrated management approach including processes and procedures to support business growth.
- Vendor and Contract Management:
- Manage contracts with service providers to ensure quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Emergency Preparedness:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans by coordinating with relevant authorities to ensure a swift and effective response to any facility-related emergencies.
- Problem Solving:
- Reporting:
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with other departments, aligning facilities management with broader organizational objectives. Undertake any other duties as may be required by the level of the post, and as required by the Senior Management
- FM Project Management:
- Manage all FM projects within the specified area from RFQ to job award.
- Overview of the execution of all FM Projects within the specified area taking into consideration all technical and commercial aspects. Maintain completion certificate and any associated documents (Warranty, T&C Reports, as built drawings etc.)
